need info on a hypertech programmer

I have a 98 blazer and a 99 tahoe. I know they use the same programmer, just need to know if one will do both vehicles or do I need one for each vehicle?

youll need one for each vehicle. once you program one vehicle, oyu cant reuse the programmer until the first vehicle has been restored back to factory settings. sorry bro.

I have one in my 98 Tahoe...GM performance parts 350 with a mild gm performance parts cam, full exhaust, 180degree thermostat and k/n cold air intake...I like my programmer for the fact that I can read and clear trouble codes with it but wasnt too stoked on the price and the amount I got in the seat of the pants department with the power gains.

wen it comes 2 a newer model chevy hypercraps suck. .the way 2 go is custom tune an its cheaper. . .http://www.nelsonperformance.com/

i agree i had the hypertec in my 02 and the diablo in my 04 then i did away with that and got mine custome tuned and futural motor sports and got alot more power.

i did like the hypertec though it is for the easy install thats for sure.the diablo was a little more intense with alot more options
