avs switch box install

i was wondering if and how would i be able to install the new avs 7 switch box in place of the normal 10 switch box im running now...i know the gauge of the wire is different/larger coming from the valves then on the avs box...what all needs to be done..

have you tried emailing someone at AVS or calling them? They are very helpful.

The boxes usually come with a small packet of quick connect terminals, male or female I forgot (one half being already on the end of the switchbox wires) then all you do is crimp the other half of the terminals onto your existing valve wiring, if the wire is too large you could pick up some matching terminals for a larger gauge of wire. Tons of wire connecting terminals available even locally, check the gauges or snip a small piece off your valve wiring and take the box with you and match it up..

^^ yup, it's a pretty straight forward swap. I love my 7 sw. rocker box!

I don't know if they are the same, but I am wiring a 9-switch box up in a truck for a friend, and it yakes 18 guage wire from the valves to the brain and it is also labeled on the brain it self to tell you which valve and direction to plug into it.
