Go under your frame and hit it with a pick toward the front and see if it crumbles. Take it to Toyota and have them look at it, they will be the ones that decide if they buy you out of it.

d.o.t. wont let any of them back on the road!!!!!!!!(sucks).......................i set an apointment for an inspection(its on tuesday next week(so im gunna be muddin for a couple days!).............they told me ill get a rental for a month and we will decide on a payout according to upgrades,ext.... and as far as the overall vehicle shape it will be considered exilent condition!)thats cool(................................a guy was dropping his off and they paid him 12,000 for his and it was a 99 reg cab 2wd\w 16 inch datons!(ive got a 97 reg cab 4wd\w 33's on it)dont know how it will go and for the most part its gunna be like takin my dog to the pound!long sucky ride!.....................................................they also told me as an addition to the payout they will putt 2000 dallars twards a new tundra 08,,,,and low 168.00 month payments!!!!!!(might do it!!!)

the dealer next to my dealership told me about this in feb. they have a shit load setting out back. toyota is paying blue or black book dont remember which. i was told that if you dont take what they offer you they want you to sigh a release form.
