OK I know I saw it on here, and after searching here, and google, i can't find the widths of GM 1 ton rear ends. from Dually, to SRW, to C&C. I just want the info from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface.

Also my truck has the Dana 70HD- is there any mods necesary to run a 14 bolt? Most of the C&C rears I have found are 14 bolts. I am looking at all my possibilities so i can tuck my Freightliners.

I think this is what your looking for

Yes- that is the info I was looking for....but now I am even more confused.LOL

OKAY-

So the widths available are:

DRW- 72"
SRW- 67.5"
C&C- 63.5"

Yet under their 14 bolt specs breakdown- it says both the SRW, and DRW are 67" and the C&C are 63.

I guess the best thing to do is measure mine, and hit the junk yards.

Also ask Trev and probably a couple others on here know as well, there's a wide track option on the GMT400 dually that is a couple inches wider than regular DRW and can hose you when it comes time to choose wheels/tires/fender mods.

EDIT - also, believe it or not, there's a wide track option on the GMT400 3500HD trucks that use the Dana 80 10 lug rear. Had no idea it existed until I saw one up for sale on another site and I got the guy to post his RPO's, turns out wide track option on the HD was RPO 5T2, may be the same RPO code used on regular duallys so it's worth checking the label for it.

Gt4 is the option code on mine, of course I would have to buy the one that has the wide track option. I had to widen my fenders for the 19's I had, where others didnt have to.

RPO GT4 is 3.73 gearing. Pretty unusual in a dually; they're typically GT5 which is 4.10

Ok guys don't bash because this is my first post, I'm actually RACKER on here but am using this name with my phone.

Question, I have a 74 crew cab with a c&c rearend under it. I'm wanting to redo my fenders for 22/24 some day. What is the out to out measurement if I use 22/24 back to back on each side. What if I run 16 on the inside?
What I'm wanting to do is get rid of the 55 fenders I welded on a few years ago and go with step side fenders instead. Any info would be a huge help.
