Ok, so went up to the Auto Hobbyshop here on Ft. Stewart. Did the little walk around/safety brief. The shop looks like at one time was pretty squared away. But it seems now that it's neglected. Some of the lifts are now inoperable, paintbooth is out of commission, and tools just looked like they've been beat to death. So I was wondering what a soldier can do about it? Obviously it looks like the military isn't too concerned since the guy says Job Orders never seem to get done. So I'm wondering if shops could donate older equipment...can't business' get tax deductions for donations? I am only wondering so if that is true, maybe of approaching some shops and seeing if they'd be interested. I also have thought of maybe looking into what it takes to host a show to help out the Auto Hobbyshop. I was thinking of building my Ram 50 there but not sure. I do know that it's a valuable asset to the soldiers on this base. Tell me your suggestions, advice, etc...but please, no bullshit or SSM Hate messages!
