Question: what do i need for paint

After i get a few body blemishes fixed on my truck im gonna take it to a buddy to have it painted but he says he needs a gun,paint and clearcoat my truck is a 96 tacoma and i just wanna paint it a flat white where would you recommend i get these items from?

look up paint stores n ur area they should have guns there if not they can order them 4 u

I buy alot of my stuff from www.eastwoodco.com They have good stuff. If you buddy doesnt own his own gun I dont know how much I would trust him to paint your truck.

Any local tool stores ,even lowes or home depot have decent hlvp guns for pretty cheap. If your just going flat you dont need an expensive clear gun. Go to your local paint shop and pick your base white and reducer, and a flat clear. their kinda expensive( the clear I mean)but their better than the flatting additives if you ask me.
