I have an 89 yota regular cab EFI, and I am in need of a complete Dash assembly. What years are interchangeable? I am New to the Toyota Brand.

Thanks in Advance

89-95. the gauge cluster changed 2 or 3 times during those years but the dash itself basically stayed the same.

like corey said, 89-95 had the same over-all shape and mounting points. they just changed up knob locations, guage cluster look, radios, etc...

Thanks for everyones input! Now time to go hit the Junk yards!

they will all fit..but they are not all the same..some (i believe 89-91)had the dash similar to the 4runners,where the dash is soft and is one piece all the way around the cluster..whereas the others are hard..and have a separate trim piece around the cluster that is also a separate piece from the dash..

i have a hard plastic upper that i shaved the top pocket dip thing off of. why do you need a new one?

I decided to teach myself how to fiberglass and Molded the whole dash as one piece. It looks bad ass for a first timer but not sure if will work once i put my gauges and stereo in.

So I want to search the junk yards for another dash and just wanted to know what years are interchanable.

Thanks again for all the information.

gotcha. i dont know if it could be reinstalled as one part. thats if you took it out to do that. most the hardware is hidden behind the lower panels.

my bad! I molded most of the dash as one piece. The lower panels i did not do and I am leaving the glove box out. I have to take my steering wheel off to get it in but it fits in nicely. I am just not sure if I like the way i did it. so I was going to try to find a spare dash to keep around.
