Max, if I were to narrow the front track width on my 93 Dakota, say 2 - 2.5" overall, would that have many adverse effects? the wheels I really want to run don't have the right offset to tuck once it's body dropped. I'd rather narrow the whole thing than just shorten the control arms. Thanks.

Narrowing the frame is far better than shortening up the arms, it should have a very minimal effect on driving.

I was gonna ask you the same questions max in regards to my dually. I want to narrow the front and when i become rich have u build me a set of drop spindles for it because i dont really want to raise the uppers

I just narrowed the front of my frontier 2". Make sure you will have enough room for exhaust manifolds/headers and steering box. Also, you will need to make sure you have enough room to shorten your motor mounts.

It looks like there will be enough room to make some motor mounts and clear the exhuast. I have to measure to be sure.

What is the yota bolt pattern? It's 5x4.5 right? If it is I moght look into that, since I can just swap the rear end for an older 5 lug dakota.

yeah, thats yota pattern. if you do that, i would try and retain the rack and pinion though, they look cleaner. i perfer them anyways. if you dont though, i want your old rack and pinion if its not messed up. lol.

I narrowed the track width of the Dodge 5 inches. I used all the factory specs for the front suspension, just made the frame 5 inches narrower then I used a custom rack and pinion to dial in all the steering issues you get with narrowing the track width.
