high&low spots

is there a way to show high&low spots on your body work with black and gray primer when you sand it. I seen something on overhaulin from lanzine. can N E one help me with this ? thanks

yes there is , on grey primer you can get some guide coat and put it on there which is available at any auto paint store, on black i just always take another color paint and just mist it across the area im going to sand then after it dries you can sand it with a block and anything that still has the other color paint on it is low and anything that sands through the primer is high

On black put you some baby powder on it..
