im almost to the point where im ready to tear my truck back down and begin doing paint and bodywork. so my question is what would be the best coating to put on my frame that will hold up but not cost me an arm and a leg? i dont want to get to crazy because ill have a closed bed and only place youll be able to see the frame is under the hood....what does everyone suggest? what have you used and how did it work?

I used POR 15 on my frame, it works fine, but the frame has to me 100% clean and contamination free....

i know it's cheap, but OMNI single stage factory pack black has a very nice shine to it for the money...about $50-60 per SPRAYABLE quart

Well, I would powdercoat it, but if you don't have it all striped down, than por15 is the shizzznit. I could have your frame powdercoated for around $2oo..Good luck.
