Hello people.I want to buy a Chevrolet S-10 2001 or a Dodge Dakota 91' for a dually and i don't know which to pick and why to pick it?
Thanks all.

You mean you want to convert a mini/mid truck to a dually? Pick whichever brand you like, you're gonna have a lot of work ahead of you, personally I would pick the Chevy but that's just the Chevy guy in me. Really I'd just buy a real dually, little trucks don't do it for me.

Yes thats what i meant.I want to take one of these cars and transform them into something spectacular because it will represent a wheel shop and maybe in the future turn it into a show car.
Thanks for your post.

Does your wheel shop specialize in dually wheels? Thats the last thing I would be doing is converting a non dually into a dually, just because of the lack of choices and price of dually wheels. Don't get me wrong, I love duallys, but for all of the headaches with wheels, I have considered many times of converting mine to a fleetside.

No it's not but i found 2 wheels in a short time at a very good price and i think i can get another 4.I don't want to start this project before knowing what i am getting into so that's why i need to know what kind of problems i could have.Any opinion about the cars?

oh, sorry i forgot to mention, i'm from Europe, and we don't get a lot of duallys around here, not to mention bagged and with 22 semis' on them, so that's why i want to start this project. i found a couple of trucks at a reasonable price, a 91' Dakota at 2000 dollars and a 00' s-10 at about 2500. I don't really want a bigger truck because of the narrow roads we have here. You call an s-10 a mini truck, well we kinda consider it as being quite large comparing it to a toyota or ranger. Also, i'm asking because i want to know wich one is more popular or easier to modify....honestly i like the dakota better because of the boxy look but hey, if it's harder to modify i'll go for the chevy.....
