Ive done all my airline with stainless and have swagelock fittings already. but there are a few places where I need to go from the hard line to regular airline. Will regular brass compression fittings work for those parts?

you did that much dont be cheap and use all stainless fittings the brass will work well on the airline but not so good on the hardline (from experience)

Another question I have. Do the swagelock fittings work on regular airline?

I believe swagelock makes a compression fitting that should work.

If your hose is synflex you should be fine, it's stiff enough. But if it's poly, I wouldn't recommend it.

I bought the majority of my fittings from BUYFITTINGSONLINE.com because I didnt know where to get them localy. My stainless line is 1/2" and I got it from a local steel dealer. I looked up SWAGELOK and on their page it has a search to find dealers. Found one here in town and picked up the rest I needed today. I tried one line with a brass fitting and a schrader valve to see if it would hold air. It actually worked ok but has a very very slow leak. I just said fuck it and decided to spend the $ on swageloks.
