So i am re doing my bag set up on my truck. I boxed in the rear of the frame tonight to strengthen it up back there since the new bag bars will be off the back.

My plan right now is to flip the 2 link around to the back and make it my bag bars. Since it is directly under the frame and i want to keep the bag centered on this bar i will have to come straight down from the frame with some 2x2 1/4" and tabs on the end for the other end of the link bar to bolt too. Since i am dropping the tab mount i will need to also drop the bag mount so i can get to the airline and bolts. Here is a quick drawing...

After all that i will weld on a parallel 4 link going forward. i will most likely go with the suicide weld on i just need to check how big it is since i have about 2.5" between my wheels and frame.

so what do you think? Will this work? thoughts, opinions, comments, concerns, criticism, feedback etc is encouraged. good or bad let me know what you think!

It looks to me that it will work just fine. I have personally built systems like this several times in the past and one just last month.

Not sure if you are already planning to or not, but you cant just flip the 2 link bars around, since they are solid mounted to your axle. You will need to have a bar end on the axle side of the rear bar, and then some sort of shackle that will attach to another bar end soilid mounted to the axle. I've done a couple trucks like that. it works well. This is one I did on an s10. Its an SD 3 link then I added the 2 rear lift bars. Gives you a good idea of how you need to link the bag bars to the axle.
