20 x 8.5 wheels with 5.4 backspace...

I have a mazda b22 i recently bought a set of smoothie wheels 20x8.5 w/ 5.4 backspace. Truck has a 3" traditional body drop is bagged at all corners with aim spindle. My question is with 4x4 sheet metal will it tuck these wheels or do I have to narrow my front frame and rear end? or what other option do i have. I really want to make these wheels work. Any info would be great.

i think you'll have to do some narrowing, i know quite a few guys run 20x8.5 with a 6.5 backspace and they are barely tuckin so,

actually 4x4 sheetmetal wouldnt help you that much but i have 20X8.5 w/6.5 bs and they tuck nicely but in you case think you will have some trouble heres a pic of mine i have a 2 1/4" bodydrop

sweet looking ride...how much did u have to narrow the frame for it to tuck. do u have spindles or control arms?

didnt narrow anything. front has tube lowers stock uppers wth ultimate customs 5lug hubs rear is a 83 yota rearend and its almost to narrow for the wheels. when laid out i can still stick my hand between the lip and bedside and i have spindles bu dont like them kick the wheel out to close to the fender when airing it up

in the front how much space do u have between the tire and the fender

plenty laid out. its just airing it up the spindles take some camber away and throw the rim close to the lip on fender. so with less backspacing im sure you will have some issues.
