Well, i finished the kia swap and got a vid of it up on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5RPFFBDRzs i also put up a vid of the old 2.2 at idle too. now i gotta finish the shaving the tails so i can really/legaly drive it. if anyone has any questions dont hesitate to ask! its all fresh in my mind. and i took lots of important pics.

Kia Sportage

I put alot of the info in the video description. its a 1998 kia sportage fe-dohc/fe3n. mazda sold the rights and blueprints/casts to kia back in 1995. the true mazda versions were only available overseas. they came to the states detuned, with lower compression, different intake design, you name it in the kia sportage. it bolts right up! i have been waiting to do this swap ever since one of my friends picked up this kia a few years ago. i co-signed a loan for him to buy a newer mazda mini and he gave the kia to me for doing that. a few monthes later and here i am. it will be at this years carlisle all truck nats, maybe some other big shows nearby.
