My wife and I are making the 26 hour drive down to Anaheim next week, and Im wondering of any good places to stop and check out on the way. I hate to pop by shops and bug them, as I know they are trying to get work done, however its not everyday I get to drive down from where I live.

Were also going to make a side detour to las vegas for a few days, I just thought I'd see what was out there for cool places to stop, for those of you that live in the regions.

Thanks-Brad

Im that direction, not really right off of 5, but it would be heading in the same direction with a small detour. We're on 29, parallel to 80 between Sacramento and San Francisco. Your welcome to stop by if you would like.

Six Flags just opened a new ride, but get to the park before they open and get the fast pass or whatever its called

Grant Customs and Cando Specialties are in Oroville, CA, very short detour off of I-5 south of redding, north of Sacramento. Robbies place is a must stop IMO.

were gonna go see the beatles one.....my wifes got a thing for the beatles. We saw one show locally in town, it was pretty cool.

And In and Out burger is high on my list. I havent had one in about 15 years. Growing up, our family had a house in Mesa AZ, so we used to drive into SoCal every now and then.
