HAS ANYONE ON SSM PUT A 5.0 IN A COURIER?
I AM ABOUT TO TACKLE THIS LITTLE ADVENTURE, AND
WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD ANY ADVICE!! I HAVE THE 5.0 AND
AOD TRANS. IT IS NOT GOING TO BE FUEL INJECTED SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY
ANOUT THAT HEADACHE!!

There is a guy here in Amarillo that has one. It doesn't run though. Good luck and let me know if you ever come up here.

The AOD is huge compared to the other auto trans. It is also the heaviest one. The C4 would be the best one, its narrower and about 60 pounds lighter. Thats all the input I have, sorry.

I would do some research on building motor mounts. I would imagine that you are going to have to do some mods to the fire wall and the trans tunnel. Are you going to keep heat in the truck?

NO HEATWAVE!! WE ARE HITTIN UP A LOCAL SHOW THAT WE HAVE MISSED FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS. SOLID MOTER MOUNTS ARE GONNA SUCK BUT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RU THE FACTORY HOOD!!
