Well I finally got the time and money to paint her, then I decided that if I was going to put large vinyls down the side, they would look better on a smooth surface. So I shaved the body lines down the side of the truck.

Heres the vinyl that will be going down the sides..

Then I finally got rid of that 3rd brake light. I will be installing 6 leds in the space just above the rear window and the roof.

Some pics of her getting primed...

If you look close, you can see the holes for the leds..

Well she she is after first coat.... ah love that Blue...

looks good man, great color... i dont know if you've cleared it by the time you read this but be careful using that plastic as masking, if its not a special kind of masking plastic (even then i still dont trust it) the dry paint can flake of and land in your clear. whenever i use plastic i go over the edges with 8 or 12 inch paper so my gun spray hits that and not the plastic.

Thanks for the tip, clearing will be happening this weekend!

the paint looks good, but kind of an off topic question if you don't mind, how did you get the center caps on your front wheels? cause my dust caps stick out like an inch. and i don't think i can hammer them in far enough. sorry again, but the truck is looking good.

Is it my choice of vinyl, or just any vinyls?

i think he will say any vinyl. i think the hood and tailgate graphics i understand but i could do without the ones down the side.
