help with hydros

i have been using bags for a long time and know pretty much the ins and outs of them, but i am trying to help a buddy out with his hydro setup on his truck and i am stuped. We have put 4 brand new batteries and selonoids on and i am pretty sure the batteries are wired correctly. My problem is as soon as i put the battery cable on the battery for the truck the solenoids click and they hydros wont do nothing. what is cause ing this. Help please

Bad connection or a bad ground. Make sure the solenoids, pump block and the batteries are all grounded securely. Possible bad connection in the solenoids, or connection to the motor.
