Wishbone?

Im not sure how a wish bone setup allows movement for sides. Can some one explain? Or does it not allow sides? Thanks guys

well I know that SD.com offers thier wishbone setups with standard bushings, and super pivot bushings. my S-10 has the standard 3 link , and its really stiff on sides in the rear, I can air up one bag in the back and the whole thing lifts darn close to straight.

The wishbone keeps it very limited in the back.

you will have to do some type of pivoting joint on the single end of the wishbone. You can use a heim or a supper pivot.

Thats what i figured, Thanks guys, another question why does a kp 6link need a panhard or watts link? It has a parrallel 4 link with the two cantilever, whouldnt the rear cantilever set up hold the rear end in place?

You will always need somthing to triangualate (sp) the link system or the rear end will move

The lift bars on any of the 5/6 link kits don't do anything to locate the axle. They really should be called 3/4 link kits with rear lift bars.

That's what I always say with my truck. I don't tell people I have a 5 link. I say I have a wishbone 3 link with lift bars.

They call it a six link because thats how many mounting points there are between the frame and the axel. You could put as many bars as you want going forward and backwards but if there is never a link to triangualate the bars it will never keep the rear end strait

What do you guys mean by rear end straight?
