isn't it bad to run the balljoints upside down? I thought you just flip the arm and run the balljoint like normal? Ive also heard of balljoints snapping if you run them upside down. Maybe someone can tell me more about this. I want to run my drop spindles but don't want to fuck something up.

and yes if you flip just the arm and install the bj back into the arm upside down and put it back onthe spindle like normal you will end up with the same ball joint angle of art upper arms.
then run art lowers because they are .5 shorter than stock and spindles and you will be good to go.
stock w/flipped arm compared to art arm

Yea that sucks but i have seen that happen many times on regular trucks with no mods and the control arm in stock location. The ball joint just failed. Why would a flipped control arm make balls joints come out. If somebody had a good reson to help explain this that would help too!!

I would think that if you flip the balljoint upside down you will creat a bad angle on the balljoint worse then if it was normal. Just flip the arm not the arm and the balljoint. The angle is the same as an art arm.

that guys balljoint was a month old, it was cause you get shit lift out of it before the balljoint binds. you can get like 2" over the fender if your just layin frame on a 29" tall tire. mine are flipped and i need to flip them back, it sucks right now

exactly. hahathe bj is at such a bad angle it bids hella fast. if your gonna do it all do it like jc freeman did. but only do it if you on like a 30.5 inch tall tire or bigger this will help more.and you wont be able to bd it because you ownt get enough lift to clear the tires.raise the upper mounts 1 inch and use art arms and drop spindlees. my boy jason has that and he has -3* camber when laid out. 0 at ride height and +4 at full lift

ok so what do yall suggest me i have the same rims and sise with 275/30/24 as Jason Freeman (Jcfreeman0) but not bodydropp i have a 04 chevi silverado, my uppers are flipped the driver on the pasenger and the passenger on the drivers side, like yall all said my lift sucks but im more scared of brakin balljoints or something so what do yall recommend to do or what.

as in flipped are you running the balljoint as it came stock or did you just flib the control arm and balljoint so its running upside down? If its upside down put the control arms back to stock sides but flip just the arm not the balljoint. take the balljoint out and run it on top of the spindle.

yea the whole thing is flipped the balljoint is coing through the bottom of the top hole of the spindle, cause when they fit it the rims they were hitting the fender and wouldnt lay out so they flipped them to get camber but now i get no lift and im scared of brakin a balljoint.
