not all cops are "DICKHEADS"!!!!

it lookslong but its a good read......., heres my tale................i got off werk about 1 1/2 hours or so ago, i live about 45 miles from home. well after getting off the freeway and going through town i notice a motorcycle cop in my rearview. no lights, just see him cutting through traffic to get behind me (or so i thought). well, after i make a right turn (legally) i notice him cut through 3 lanes of traffic to get behind me, (NOW I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING, I THOUGHT YOU SAID THEY WERENT ALL DICKHEADS), READ ON....... i have that funny feeling so i begin to pull over, at that second, he hits his red/blue lights. im cool, wait to get my wallet out til he gets to the door but before he dismounts his motorcycle, HE TIPS IT OVER!!! lays it flat on the ground....... i open my door to help him out, he tells me to "GET BACK INTO THE TRUCK SIR!!", again, im cool with it. he regains his composure, uprights the bike and gets to my door. i hand him my license, insurance and reg........ and i can tell hes burnt inside but cant show it, (like the british guards outside buckingham palace). he tells me "i noticed you had the right hand drive, thats illegal". i explained to him i researched it for months and i talked to the local chp and the local police dept. and they confirmed there in nothing in writing stating i cannot own a right hand drive automobole... he ask's me to pop the hood to view the "power adders" he has just taken a class about. i oblidge the officer with absolutely no hesitation. pop'd the hood and he points out various items relocated under the hood but focused on the k&n stating, "i could tow this due to race ready modifications. i told him its a k&n to help me fight gas prices and that its a 2.2, basicly a go-cart with a bed. he chuckled aloud and handed me back my license and wut not, shook my hand and told me to "have a nice day, i wasted enuff of your time".............

hopefully proving not all cops are dickheads if you keep your calm collective selves..... respect will get you everywhere ladies and gents!!!!!

I have actually been pulled over jsut so the guy could see what I had done to my truck.. He was more interested then anything.. He loved it and even played with the switches till I ran out of air (damn compressors and small tank)

I thought it was pretty cool..

9 times out of ten the reason they are so called dickheads to you is because some other minitrucker has been a smart ass to them in the pass os any mini they pull over they are thinking that you are going to be that same smart ass so if we all start being kool even if they give you a ticket then the next time they will remember that you were kool and probibly take it easy on you this will give all us minitruckers a better reputation.

really though, why did you even get hassled......i would have laughed in his face and asked him if he just took a class on how to ride too. i got pulled over one day for taking a turn and putting my seat belt on right as i left my neighborhood. he ended up searching my truck, and all these stupid questions. i was shaking, only cuz cops around here have a no good rep. he asked why and my reply was "because your a cop sir, thats it". i didnt get a ticket, he had nothing to write a ticket for.

now a lady cop comes into my work and i asked her if there was a legal limit on how low you can be. she just said its a city ordinance that noone here even enforces. so i get to ride as low as i want as long as it doesn't hinder my driving ability. because she said i could

around here some mail attendants drive from the passenger side.......IN A LHD CAR! i saw that the other day and just about shit myself. I guess they have pedals on both sides, but the steering wheel is on the left! NOT safe!

well one morning i was coming through town around 4:30 am.....well 2 say the least it was 35 degrees and my windshield was fogged up....pretty nasty conditions for my truck lol well i was coming around the square and saw a cop dart around on a side road and he caught the red light....then ran it lol i knew it was me so i pulled over n he came with flashlight in hand and asked a stupid question......do u know why i pulled u over ? lol nope sure dont....he blamed it on my license plate lamp being out but wat can u expect in a convertible bagged n body dropped truck @ 4:30 am? he let me go after seein my record.....so i wouldnt loose my license lol thanks 2 the good cops

First off, I respect cops.. well, most of them anyway. They put their life on the line sometimes for us. But if we obey the speed limit, put our turn signal on, and just be courteous to other drivers, why should we get hassled because we are different than all the other 98% of cars/trucks on the rode? If they want to check out our ride, tell them to go to a show. You don't see cops pulling over old ladies to check out their new engine in their 08 CTS caddies do you. Or do you see them asking to check their tint even though the windows are rolled down. Fine, if they pull us over for a missing license plate light or a "defective taillamp" but don't go and start checking other shit too. That's when i start calling bullshit. Sorry for the rant, I hate cop threads

I got pulled over twice in one night for light on licsense.

Grant(72bumpside) I am currently a rural carrier associate (RCA) for USPS. I can assure you that when you see one of us sitting in the middle that we do not have pedals on the right side. We are trained and tested on how to drive like that. Left foot working the pedals and left hand working the wheel. I took the center console out of my 4runner to deliver mail every saturday. But, since we are technically federal employees we are not harrassed by the police.
