Buzzing noise

Everytime i open a door i have a buzzing noise. That comes from what i can read "Timer Buzzer".It's a little black box, Under the dash on the driver side. Whats interesting to me is,it buzzies only when the truck if off,keys are out and everything is off. That it buzzies. Now i've read the Wiring Diagram and It seems i could remove it. But i need to be 100%. Anyone else have this Problem?

Not sure what year yours is but my dad has a 94 and he had the same problem, but when I took it out, the truck wouldn't start, maybe it just needs to be replaced. I don't know for sure if it can be removed completely as I think it is a relay but someone correct me if I am wrong.
