rivits
sheet metal screws
double sided tape (witht he screws in the arm rest holding it on too)
slots for the sheet to slide in...
not sure what you want the finished look to be...
make the "door panel" wrap around tot he jambs so the mounting screws are hidden when door is closed. ???

On the Red and silver 2 door blazer we built we used upholstery grade 2" velcro. Worked great almost to good too.

i'm going for the slick clean look, but i guess the rivets idea wouldnt be bad, but are they certain amount that i should use, could i get away it maybe 4 one in each cornor and then let the rest of the stuff hold it, the door handle, and opener or should they be around 10? also where did u get the grade 2 velcro?

We got it from our upholstery supplier. If you check around with some auto upholstery places they should be able to get some for you. It has a good tacky side that will stick to just about anything. If your looking for a good clean set up try this first and if you dont like it just change to rivets. We had no problem.

yea, i would imagine that if you used velcro the whole way around that thing would stick like a mofo.
