Well I was trying to put some more pressure in my bags to get the jack under the truck and well, i didnt crank the truck as im pulling the motor and all. Turned it on and about 30 seconds later it cuts out and won't come back on. I hear something click, i'm guessing it's the relay or some sort of solenoid? Sorry, I didn't wire everything up so I'm not sure whats where right now.

Is there some way to test and see whats going on here? also, at times it woulnd't be a consistant noise, it would kinda deepen in tone, and then get back to a normal sound.... 200 psi max pressure switch...

dont think so. no reason for it to be dead.....

might of just popped your relay then.

what would be clicking when i hit the switch either way? is there usually some sort of solenoid or anything? i figured if it clicked then it was still good

mine did the same thing when I was rebuilding the rear suspension, turns out the battery was dead. Took it to oreillys and had them charge it on there super charger...lol. Anyway it took like 1 minute for them to charge it. I had my doubts dropped it in the truck and everything was back to normal. The clicking noise you hear is your relay, it takes very little power to make it work.

you were right. i have NO idea why but the battery just wasnt getting it enough juice. battery read 12.5 volts, but with the charger on it definately kicked the compressor on. thanks. ssm comes thru yet again.
