project; what!??

i thought id dtart a project thread on here from the point im at now to getting it finished. i thought it would be better to just start 1 then having a bunch of different topics.

well i got my motor siting in the frame. built motor mounts and fab'd some brackets up. its just rough right now. nothing is ground'd or finished yet. but enjoy seeing a 350 sb and turbo350 tranny in a z'd and narrowed mazda on 24's.

got room for headers? going to be makeing 100% custom headers that go up then back down at the rear of the block.


the reason the control arm is different on this side is so the steering will bolt back up and the control arm will miss it. its no done yet i need to get the headers fabd so i know where i can plate and where i cant.


nice and tight. just how i like it. haha. the top of the tires are where the hood is. plenty of room for a 650cfm carb and custom ram air intake. the tranny isnt mine. i have a built one that will be going in. just isnt done yet.


plenty of lift with 120psi in the bags. tires are untucked by about 2 inchs. balljoints are locked out.




kinda see how my steering is setup now. im going to be upgrading to one size bigger heims i think. i still get awsome turning radius to. i swaped to 01+silverado spindles. all dom tubing and 1/4 inch plate. upper s10 balljoints and lowers are upper chevy 3500 van ball joints. found the instant center to know where to set my steering up at. im going to plate the uppers a little more. but after i get my headers built.


got some lift? gets about 16 inchs of travel.

That is sweet! Great use of stock parts to do something very custom.

motor specs: 350 sb bored .60 over, balanced crank, mild cam (not sure on the specs of it) pete jackson noisy gear drive. port and polished heads. edelbrock smallest intake. going to have a modd'd edelbrock 650 cfm carb. flame thrower hei distributor. electronic water pump, aluminum radiator and electric fans. i probably missed some stuff. but thats the main stuff.

is that a 67 rs camaro in the back??? looks just like mine but my hood is a stock hood. alot of people say the rs came with the style hood thats on the one in the back ground and nice build by the way i think i seen this on s10forum also

car in the back ground is a 67 camaro ss. has a BUILT 350 in it. its my brothers. its getting a 4 speed put in it.

i wanna see what the rear setup looks like done and on the truck. not saying i dont like it, just i cant wrap my head around the look of the rear.
