Im thinking of getting a plug and play kit. Does anyone run these? Are they good for the money or what? Tell me what you think?

for the same money you can build a better setup. i knew a guy who was driving on the freeway and his truck slammed thefront down at like 80 and wouldnt come back up.. he had a plug and play. he threw it away after that.. but some quality stuff and throw it in a box. lol

Are those the AIM kits? If so i'd say thats the biggest CON.

I'd say to stay away. My very first setup came from AIM and within six months of being bagged I had to replace all of the valves and most of the fittings.. I would reccomend some SMC or Parker valves.. It's not that hard to plumb them and wire them.

Stay away from anything made by aim. When it comes to air ride parts you get what you pay for.Anything that i have seen come from AIM does not fit well needs to be twaeked a bit to make fit.Sorry but if you want valves in a manifold set up i would buy Air Ride Tech. big red valves set up or something like that before i would buy any parts from AIM.This is how AIM gets sales by offering things dirt cheap they just do not tell you that you need to replace them every month.

Air Ride Technologies has a "plug and play" system too, and it looks like very nice parts in a compact package...

With that said, it's up to you whether you're willing to pay top dollar for that compact footprint. I'm personally a big fan of putting the valves out at each corner, for the best response time and least amount of wasted air, and these systems obviously put them all together in the trunk.
If that's not a concern for you, you could always source the parts you want, mount them to a piece of plate aluminum/ steel/ plywood, and build a shroud to cover it all up with...

I won't comment on that other company, though, and I don't think I need to- it looks like there are enough opinions on here already!
