i just shaved my tailgate handle, and its gonna rock the primer for awhile. I was gonna pinstripe it but i've heard it can leave a ghost stripe once you go to paint. when its time for paint, i'll snad it all off and re prime everything a 2nd time anyways to make sure its all sick, should i run into any problems?

if you use sealer under you paint it should be fine. if the stripe is done with oil based paint, repriming might be a better idea.

i use one shot, and i'm gonna reprime it regardless, not strip it off, just block it, reprime, block again
