s10 step shaver

which is the best? i know the grant are good for $500. but how much difference is there in the plastic for less than half the price? how hard it plastic to mold together?

i have the plastic kit and as soon as i have the cash im gettin the metal one. my right side cap had a bubble in the plastic i cant get out and the whole thing tends to giggle. so metal all the way.

another option is buying s10 replacement bed corners and cutting a section out and rewelding. This is the route i have gone, they were only 80 bucks for both.

I have the Grant pieces on mine. Much better than the plastic ones. No matter how I tried to attach the plastic ones, just from everyday road movement they came loose. Can't even tell you how many times I had to fix them. Go with the steel ones. Just make sure you have someone with great bodywork skills to get them on and smooth. I had one of the first sets Grant made and they were difficult to fit. I know they have improved the fitment since. It looks good but was a pain in the ass.
