97-03 traditional bodydrop cutting firewall

anyone here done traditional bd on there f150 that might have pics of where and how they cut there firewall at I'm needing pics are illustrations on where would be the best and most easy way. By the way Its excab and I'm kind of pressed for time on getting this thing going again

never mind fellas just went at it with a sawzall today and it worked out great . will post pics as it finishes up it's getting close and i can't wait been like 9 months since i last got to drive it to a show are anywhere out of town

cut towards the bottom... or you can just make a new firewall... as in my "smart" case.. note... f150s are such a pain in the ass

yes they are joel i have been fighting this bitch for a long time now . i got everything cut today gonna start making patch panels and firewall tubs tomorrow and start welding it back together should be done by the weekend with the body drop the bed is done and all sheeted in now just have ot weld up the cab and notch the frame in the front for the radiator support and put it back together . i mainly had this thing down in the front for motor work as i had problems with the motor ( a tic) which ended up costing me more and more to get fixed and it's still running like crap but i'm gonna get the tune and it should be good to go

can't wait to see this thing bodydropped, you keeping the 22s??

yeah for now but i made sure i can run bigger if i have to by just changing up the sheetmetal i might be taking the rearend off for a little narrowing soon after it's done to run my billet with a little more lip

trent what year explorer you got your booster from if you changed it i'm about ot orderone off ebay are in the wrecker yard here and go ahead and change it out while i got the front down still
