flat paint questions

I was thinking of doing a two tone with the bottom flat silver and the top a gloss blue just wondering if anyone has done that or has any pics of flat and gloss together. the other thing i was wondering is if you could wet sand the flat clear coat without making it shine just worried about not being able to sand out the dirt. any thing would help thanks.

You car do it that way, but you are gonna run into some problems. The gloss and the flat will probally have a tape line and im not sure about getting he dirt outta the flat with out making it gloss up some. you can tape off the flat and wet sand the cleared section. To hide the tape line you can run a pin stripe. Kinda funny you ask about those colors thats what my accord was going until i gave up on it. I already have the paint for it just sitting around rotting probally not usable by now. Its only 5 years old now....lol but good luck !
