88 dakota billet grill

my friend has an 88 dakota and is looking for the billet grill that hes seen on afew dakotas on show coveragesanyone know where to buy them?

anybody?

I used to have a part number through Trenz, but I believe it was for the 92-96 grille (not sure of exact years). I don't know of any company that offered a billet for the 88 grille...

If you've seen them on trucks, I would imagine that they were custom built. That front end is relatively flat, so if you got an insert that's a bit larger you could always cut it down to fit. I had to do that for an old Datsun pickup- can you believe nobody made a billet grille for a '73 Datsun 620?!
