I'm picking up a 4door 1998 blazer tonight it's streight and runs good he's asking $500 only thing is it's 4 wheel drive. I've never looked under a wheel drive blazer anyone have any thoughts on bagging or lower it and removing the wheel drive section? Any info will help This will be my fith truck I will bag and body drop just never done a 4x4.

They run torsion bars. I've "heard" and dont hold me to it, that you can pick up a four wheel drive delete plate for the front in order to bag it. I was thinking of doing the same but not quite sure whats all involved.

I beleive the mounting points for the control arms are different and will make it real hard to lay out

There was a guy here several years ago that had a 1st gen 4x4 blazer that was planted...it was so far back i think he had air shocks on it! And to top it off, the 4wd still worked! I remember him slingin mud at booger bash one year with all 4 wheels...

Anyway, I'll try to get in touch with him and find out how he did it. Maybe it will be a little help for you.

I had a 92 4x4 that I slammed you can literally slam the front in about 1/2 hour although the ride quality sucks. There's a guy on there named slimgu3 who's a genious with the 4x4 stuff get in touch with him
