on an 98 chevy truck what do you do to the y pipe so the front will lay all the way

im assuming your talking of a s10\sonoma 4.3......you will have to reroute it around the tranny instead of under.

Yea, you will have to have your muffler shop fab you up a new y pipe tucked up above the frame.

Edelbrock makes a y pipe for lowered fullsize trucks.I got one on my fullsize and it works great.Mine is a 1991 c1500 ext cab.

any1 have any pics? ive got a 97 f/s an had a new y pipe made an moved it up as far as it would go an it still crushed in. ive heard of runnin it down the frame a lil ways then runnin a cross but fuel lines an everything in the way just didnt make since 2 me lol. but sum pics would mayb nice if any1 had them. id like 2 c them.
