Ok we have a 97 c3500 crew cab and buddy wants to swap it to a dually.
Now im assuming the front is just hubs/brakes ?
Now the back whats the different on the rear end? can I use it to run 4 semi wheels under back with stock fenders?

The front is just hubs, it will use the same calipers. The rear can be used to run the semis and not have to cut the fenders. If your gonna run semis, don't buy dually front rotors. Just use the SRW front hubs and extend the A arms 1.5". This way you will have more steering clearance and the tires won't hit the frame. Also if you lower it a lot the fire wall won't have to be clearanced as much. Also the dually front hubs are twice as much as SRW hubs.

will the inners hit the frame/leafs in the back?

Yes it will hit if you run the leaf springs. You would need to run a 4 link and bags. Otherwise swap out the rear and cut the fenders.

"If you absolutely wanted to keep the leaf springs"

with a SRW, would it be possible to run a 16" inner, put longer studs in the axles, and run semis on the out side???

thought it might need longer studs since is was only made for one wheel on the hub.

with 6 semis, the adapter sets where your 16" would normally be. but if you run a 16" inner then stack the semi over that, then you basically putting 2 wheels on the factory studs.

the 16" doesn't overlap the backing plates. so it wouldn't hit the springs????
