Thanks guys! I definately feel you on the gauge thing. I really wasn't going to use it, but it looked dark without it and I've had the car since I was in high school and built that gauge piece when I was like 16, so I didn't want to use anything else really. Here are some more of the detail shots with some of the machined pieces also:This is a cover over the temperature sending unit to disguise it, no one ever notices.

I wouldn't have expected anything less from Robbie!! Wow, thats a beautiful rod, incredible workmanship, classy styling, great color combo, and all of the different textures work really, really well together. So, Robbie are we going to cruise that thing in Pleasanton, or what? I'm getting the '37 roadster all geared up to go for a cruise, are you in? See ya in a couple weeks, bro!

the car is amazing. i love seeing that much detail put into a ride like that. the 1st pic of the motor is my favorite though

Mitch, I can't drive it yet. The rear tires don't have enough clearance and I don't want to raise the back because I don't want that large of a rake. I've got a new wheel tire combo on its way but it won't be here in time. I'm stuck to just driving around the fairgrounds. We can take Impression out though, thats a driver!

Sounds like a plan! Hell, i'm cool with a little fairgrounds cruising in the special! Definetly want to get Impression out, that truck looks like its a blast to cruise. I'm really excited about this trip, its going to be a blast. Mel & I are leaving out monday the 18th and my chic is flying in town on thursday.

You coming by the shop wednesday afternoon? I was planning on leaving here for the show on thursday.
