adapter plates

So i've had this idea for awhile but wasn't aware if anyone has ever tried to make them. In Isuzu's, and Mazda's, and the colorado's all have plates that bolt to the hub that the bolt pattern is on. With all these spacers and adapters that are made why can't an adaptor be made to go from the bolt pattern on the hub to a five bolt wheel pattern? Either to toyota pattern or a small chevy pattern. This would eliminate the expense of finding used hubs or buying new ones. Just an idea.

Had that very same thought last night lookin' at mine. I would think it would be easy to do but if it was then why don't you hear about people doin' it????
