Whats up guys? well i just put new ascos on my truck(1/2 up, 3/8 down). And my left front dump is sticking already. What can cause this? Could it be a weak ground, or what else could it be? Any help would be awesome guys.

ThanksMarcos

Could be a bad ground....... was their water in your tank?

No, i just redid EVERYTHING. Brand new comps, tank, valves line everything. Tonight was the first time comps ran and valves saw air, so what can it be? ground?

is it a asco dump? also where did you get it. i know of one person\place selling smcs that dont look like normal smcs i have seen and my buddy has had nothing but problems with these wanna be smcs

A bad ground would just cause the valve not to respond when you hit the switch. It doesn't need power to hold air. I would give them a few cycles to see if the diaphrams seat in. If they still leak then you need to take them apart and clean them. Sometimes brass from new fittings or debris will wedge under the diaphrams and cause air to pass through.

I had some brand new Mac Daddys that did the same thing. I took them apart and they had some sort of debris in them, cleaned them all out, put them back together and they worked fine.

what did you use to assemble the fitting. pipe tape a big no no will get caught in the diaphram and make it leak. anotherthing is a brass shaving stuck in the diaphram aswell

Then what should i use Bobby? I have some of that liquid teflon, T Plus 2, or some shit like that. But what do yall recommend?

i use liquid teflon, but i can't answer your previous question, sorry. i am running ascos and have had no problems. you may just want to pull it apart and check for trash. they are very easy to pull apart and clean.
