my poor truck is being neglected lol..gah soon soon I'll get to him..so anyone in southern ca want to take over some work on it???

im also debating on whether to throw in a cummins or a 427..any suggestions?

Thats my 76 Crew I picked it up last year 60k miles. Suspension wise is very comparable to all old mopars. The truck is sitting down with the front suspension bottomed out on the steering box and idler arm. The drivers upper is also against the steering shaft. Im pulling it all apart this winter to build a full frame to lay body. I met a guy at Slammin & Jammin this year has a crew short 4x4 that hes building with a 2wd chevy clip. After doing my front the first time the gm front clip sounds like a good Idea.

Its just sittin in the back field right now. Ill be movin it to new house this weekend & might be able to get some pictures. As for front setup im using a 5.5" Dia upper cup aproximatly 4.5" tall and the lower is just a circle plate with a 1" shim to level it up on the lower control arm. Its currently got a set of Dominator 2500s on front. (being well abused) It will need some good trimming to clear the re-8s it deserves. The front kind of reminds me of the 63-87 C10 the way the crossmember and suspension bolts to the frame.
