I dont know much about what Sarasota has to offer other than the beaches but Im in Tampa which is about an hour away from Sarasota. And there are quite few things to do here. We have theme parks like Busch Gardens (If you go check out the hospitality house for FREE beer) and Adventure Island (Plenty of Scantilly Clad Females) Plenty of Beaches. As far as Night life like mentioned before Ybor City in Tampa is the place to be. Lots of Clubs, Bars etc in a historic part of time, Plenty of things going on there. Also Orlando is about 1.5 hours from Tampa and has tons of theme parks.
As far as related to our sport, Slamfest is right around the corner but your timing dosent look like it will allow that.
