yeah the grill and bumper that were origionally put on it were narrowed and i didnt think they fit quite as well. i have a stock with bumper and grill on it now and the bumper is a tiny bit too wide but i think it looks a lot better. From what i can see they put the chrome stips on it to cover their cut marks from when they cut the fenders, they are definately going!!

Did you trade a guy in London Ky for it? It was at Unleashed and that owner almost let it burn to ground. The interior was full of smoke and he didn't know where it was comming from or where the compressor mounted. IIRC the short caused the compressor to burn up.

Glad to see the truck in good hands now. We all stood around in shock of its condition after it pulled in.

ya i traded it with that guy. thats about the same shock i had when it pulled up. lol

yeah i kinda figured something like that happened i found the burnt wire, they actually still used it when they hooked up the new compressor. i figured this out when it started rolling smoke from under the dash. i guess that idiot used the same wire after it happened once already

So its been a little while so ill throw out some updates. I decided to redo all the suspension before i started on anything else. Im gonna backhalf the rear and redo all the rear suspension. There had been way too much added over the years and its definately time to start over. Ill post pics of the frame as soon as i get it cut out. Right now i got all the interior out of it and im gonna cut the rear floor section out and build a new fuel cell that will stay under the new floor that i'm gonna put back in at stock height at the very back. Im also flipping the rear 22's to the front and going with 24's in the rear. Here are a few pics i took the other day ill get more up as i get them.

Man I always liked that truck. I followed them back from Greenville a couple years ago and was in awe the whole way. Glad to see it brought back to where it should be.
