Hey guys,

I start work on my rear section this week. I'd like to see your rear setups to get an idea of what's possible and popular. I would really like to see setups with the stock gas tank in the stock location, as that's what I'm trying to do. Although it looks like with this frame it's not possible without running the bags over the axle or a reverse 4-link. So please show me what you got, or have a picture of someone else's that may be useful to me.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle

Haha, all the time. But I don't have room to run the lower bars like you did do I? I was looking at your frame yesterday and this morning. But I don't think I have enough room to mount the bars where you did, and still give them some length to travel. Or am I wrong? I would think the bars need to be a little longer to work properly...

Seth now that I've got you in here, or anyone that knows can I run a 245/35/20 on an 8.5" wheel with a 40 offset, or do I need to narrow the rear end? Truck will be BD'd to the rocker...

SHORT BARS ARE OK IF UR NOT TRYING TO GET 2 FEET OF TRAVEL..

So right after the front bed mounts where the frame starts to rise up, I can weld the link mount there and run them to the axle like Seth's truck wayne? I thought it might be a little short to run the bars there, but i would like too...

IT WILL BE FINE. SETHS TRUCK IS HIS DAILY AND HE HAS NO PROBLEMS. AND ALSO LOOK AT THE KITS THAT SUICIDEDOORS.COM MAKES FOR THE S10'S AND ITS THE SAME THING. SHORT BARS UP FRONT AND LONG LIFT BARS BEHIND. AND THEY ARE FINE TOO. SO I WOULDNT BE WORRIED IF I WAS YOU

Exactly the information I needed to hear Wayne, thanks. BTW, where in California are you?

Yeah you don't need bars that long. You can run a 17.5" to 18" bar. I run smaller bushings on the lowers now so I can tuck them up closer to the frame. And I run the offset upper wishbone so I can set it up with better geometry.
