Hi Max,Just after your thoughts on if shock waves are worth the cash. I was thinking of running them up front in my isuzu. As i think they look heaps cleaner than the normal bag and shock setup. Any info would be great.

ThanksBen

im not max but a budy of mine ran them on a galaxy and he said they road ruffer and wouldnt give the max. drop he wanted shure he could cut it up and change it but he didnt want to . he ended up sellin them and just plain baggin the front. ive also put them on a ford mustag and it road alot ruffer and made noises but they where the chasis tech brand.i would not recomend chasis tech for shure. we had probs with them leakin from the strut and they didnt care and didnt want to help me so we droped the acount

i prefer the bag shock separately. i like knowing if one of my shocks wear out that I can get one for $15 locally and don't have to tear the whole front end apart to change it or have to wait for a new shock section from ART which could take a week to be delivered.

Shockwaves are only good for one thing, small vehicles with little need for more than 5" of travel or a quality ride. (like the Datsun on my profile)

Although they do look good, they are a medeocre part at best. The shock is not as high quality as you would expect for the price, the bushings can't handle the abuse of heavier vehicles and they don't offer very much travel.

Just run the bag that you need and run Bilstein shocks or some other hi-end shock and you will be much happier.
