Lowering a four wheel drive xterra

Whats up guys...im thinking of lowering my xterra i bought it 3 years ago when i moved to PA so its 4x4..now i moved back to NC and 4x4 not that important. so i was wondering if its worth it or not. any help would be great...thanks

you wont be able to go down too far. we have a member on nissancustoms thats got one lowered and hes about to bag it. but i think his is 2wd but i could be wrong.

You will be limited by how low it will go by the CV axles binding up. U could take all the front 4x4 stuff out and get teh transfer case modified for only rear wheel drive but im sure the cost if high for all that.
