ok so, trying to figure out the best way to set up the link system for my 61 fairlane. biggest issue is clearance under the backseat. i borrowed this pic to show what is another option for me, just need an opinion on it.

as for the lower bars being triangulated rather than the uppers, i do not see an issue with this, it would fit my application quite well i believe. Biggest question is the upper bars, is it an issue the way the are mounted in front of the axle rather than on the top? this would also work in my favor b/c it would eliminate the amount i need to cut to clear the bars. i figure as long as the bars are parallel but mounted on a different plane they will work correctly. and finally, what would you say the minimum angle the triangulated bars should be mounted, again i do not have a hell of alot of room so the amount will be restricted some. this is my last post of this month, so any replies or other questions will be in the form of an edit, thanks

Check out the Nash in my profile, it has a compact 4-link that keeps the rear seat.
