A few months back my truck started making this ringing noise. my wife noticed it first but i thought it was just the shovel i had in the back radaling around against the bed of the pickup. wich is exactly what it sounded like. i took the shovel out and it was still making the noise. It kept getting louder and louder eveytime i drove it to work. I took it too a muffler shop because i thought it was my catilite converter. he said it was just my pipes radiling because they were old so i had him put some new ones on. then after he puts them on he tells me its my u joints in my driveshaft. So i just paid this asshole 150 bucks for nothing. it aint like i can tell him to put the old ones back on. sorry for the story im getting to the point. so im told i have a two piece driveshaft and whoever lowered it, didnt lower it right so they cut the driveshaft 2 inches and made it a one piece and they put 2 inch lowere shims in it so it will be angled right. now its making the same noise again so i take it make to the guys who fixed it they said it was coming from the rearend and they dont do that so then i take it to steves customs wich is my guy who i trust and he caint tell where its coming from or what it is and he said everything checked out just fine and said it might be the breaks or something and im kinda thinking the same thing. the noise its making now is just like a light squeeking noise and it does it when i got the foot on the gas or not so if anybody could tell me what it might be i would really appreciate it alot and soory for the story. i drive an 02' chevy S-10 ext. cab thank for any help
