Toyota Polished/ Chrome Valve cover

is there a company that sells these for a 22re engine and maybe some other dress up stuff or do i need to have it sent somewhere to get polished? or is it possible to do it myself?

lc engineering sells a chrome one

polishing it up would be alot of work, but not really something that takes a ton of brain power. if rather paint mine though.

and yeah i was thinking about just doing that Joe maybe get some airbrushing done on it as well...

airbrushing wouldnt stay on polished metal in an engine room very long. paint needs to have a tooth. when metal is polished, its the opposite of that. on mine, i plan to smooth off all the little posts for bolts that i wont be using and then paint it. not sure what color. but i know im going to take 80 grit to the work toyota on the top after to make it bare metal again.

well i havent been on there in a while but they used to sell a chrome one. i just looked and they only sell a silver powdercoat one now. just send yours out for chrome.

mine is aluminum - i polished it. its on a 1983 toyota 22R

what did u polish it with lucky?

my buddy has a truck with a chromed cover. how much do you want to offer for it? he might sell it. ill send the offer his way.
