So i made my four link and tacked everything into place. i put my two parallel bars in and jacked it up from the pumpkin everything worked great. then i put one side of axle on the on the ground and jacked up the other side. i got the jack under the drum and started to lift and got about 5/6inches of the ground and my tacks snapped.i did not use pivot ends or himes. just basic ends that i made. it is not adjustable at all. my bars are 30.5" long and run from bridge to axle about 3 inches inside the frame rails. please take time to look at my picture on my myspace. sorry i dont know how to post pics on here. i am wondering what i have to do to get it to hit a mean side. myspace.com/bagged89dawg its under here in my pictures that say progress of the mazda... thanks for your time

I have not looked at your pics yet, but I can be fairly sure that you are expecting too much out of the bushings. Most bushings are not soft enough to flex that far, especially with the tabs only tacked together. Without heims or super-pivot joints you cannot expect the suspension to easily pivot from side to side.

i get alot of guys that come over with the same problem. bushings are not meant for a true side to side. like max said heims or super pivots work best for that. just dont use cheap heims
