its a 96 tacoma, lays frame. When i bought it the AC was taken out,my question is, would it be possible to put it back in? what would be the side effects? would it not lay as low? what all would I need to get. This is my daily and not having ac sucks ass, the fans on the ac works it just doesnt blow out cold air, the heater works fine, if you have a taco like mine feel free to lemme know what you did to keep the ac, hehe.

-thanks

it depends on what size wheel/tire you are running. i know that when running 20" rims on tacos you need to notch the heater/ac box of some sort... you would probably be better off in regards to time, money and/or effort to run a retro-fit a/c system from someone like VintageAir. i put one on my 62 falcon wagon and it was a piece of cake.

I have 18's right now with 215/35 tires, i plan on getting 20's in the future, so vintageair makes "custome" ac units for vehicles? do they have a website?
