ive got a guy who wants me to lower his 91 chevy about 2/4" i recommended drop coils and a shackle/hanger kit. he didnt want spindles because its a bit more, and he doesnt plan to bag it. hes getting some 20s sunday for it, and i told him to let me check it out after that. i might be able to get him to go a bit lower, but i havent met him yet. just gettin a base idea of how to do it.

any major issues with doing on of these kinda drops? for the rear, are the shackle hanger kits easy or am i going to have to grind off rivots and drill new holes? i dont care, its just something to take into consideration in charging him. also, are their any low hanging things to worry about? i just helped my buddy body his 01 chevy, so i imagine its the typical exhaust and tranny crossmember being the low stuff. thanks people. ill put some pictures up when i meet him and do a rundown on the truck.

oh come on. nobody on this site even looks here? haha. luckily i found out from belltechs PDF instructions the rivots do need to be removed but no holes drilled. i think ill charge more. and i also have a set of hangers by belltech that looks just like the ones they pictured. i guess that answers what they're for.

You will have to grind off rivots and remove the leafspring its easy just do one side at a time.As for the front it will ride better with spindles.

yeah. i told him spindles would ride like factory. springs will probably ride a bit stiffer.
